Simply put, we buy cars from enthusiasts, for enthusiasts._This 1965 VW Bus restoration was completed by East Coast VW Restorations in 2018. It was commissioned by one of our longtime local clients. The inspiration was his matching, Meissen Blue 1957 Vintage Speedster. Like many of our clients, the thrill is in the project. Not very long after its completion we were lucky to have it as part of our inventory. We sold it to a local client that has cared for it over the past 5 years. We were recently given the opportunity to bring it back into our inventory once again. Needless to say, we acted quickly! This Bus has traveled 3,885 since its completion._RECENT SERVICE HISTORY_10/19/23 at 3,873 Miles - By Leading Edge Auto Sport, West Chester, PA Total $5,869.18 - Perform PA State Inspection - Install New Oil Sump Plate Gasket Fill, refill w/ Fresh Oil - Install New Rear Axle Seals and Brake Hoses, Adjust E-Brake - Flush Complete Brake System - Install New Tie Rods (both) - Install New Oil Cooler Kit - Install New Fuel Tank Sending Unit - Install New Battery Hold Down Clamp - Install Shift Bushing Repair Kit - Install New Wiper Blades_A beautiful coffee table book documenting the build process will be presented to the new owner. An extra set of wheels with white wall tires, old school leather suitcase, and a car show display poster with build specs are included as well._The 4-speed manual transmission and the 1914cc engine performs as intended._We did note some bubbling under the paint around the windows.
