GR Auto Gallery of Indy is pleased to offer this clean 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe for your consideration. Powering the SS is a 305ci V8 motor mated to a 200R4 automatic transmission. This G Body shows really well in its original Silver Metallic paint scheme combined with it's gray cloth interior. It also features bucket seats, air conditioning, power windows, console shift, cruise control, comfort tilt steering wheel, Aero Coupe rear window, original radio, original wheels, and more! For 1987, all 6,052 Aero Coupes were built in the Pontiac, Michigan, plant before their conversion work was completed under the RPO Z16 code. A second gas strut was installed to support the short decklid and the exterior color pallet was expanded to include black, dark maroon metallic, silver metallic, and white. The stripe selection was also upgraded from a single two-tone combination in '86 to either gold, red, or gray. A laid-down spoiler was installed on the decklid both years, as were a pair of body-color aerodynamic mirrors. CERTAIN REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTERS, FRAM BRAND NAME P/N G3727, WITH DATE CODES X52911 THROUGH X60801 SEQUENTIALLY OR X600141 AND A MEXICO COUNTRY OR ORIGIN MARKING ON THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING MANUFACTURED FROM OCTOBER 18, 2005, THROUGH MARCH 21, 2006, SOLD FOR USE ON THE VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE AND ON CERTAIN SCHOOL BUSES. (TO SEE THE SCHOOL BUS ENGINE SIZES, CLICK ON "DOCUMENT SEARCH" AND THEN "BUS APPLICATIONS"). THE CONNECTOR ON THE FUEL FILTER WAS NOT MANUFACTURED TO HONEYWELL'S SPECIFICATION. AS A RESULT, THE O-RING MAY NOT SEAT CORRECTLY ON THE FUEL LINE.
