Notes

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1986 Ford Mustang for your consideration. This example is powered by a 351ci Vu motor that routes power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. According to the selling owner, this hopped-up Fox Body puts out a staggering 455 horsepower. Setting this example apart from the rest is the optional T-Tops that can be removed for an exceptional open air driving experience. The selling owner notes that all door seals and the T-Tops were recently replaced along with new Hankook Ventus V2 tires mounted on ARE 16-inch wheels. Finished in a clean Dark Gray color, this example presents itself well. Other exterior highlights include the factory spoiler, dual exit exhaust, and a hood scoop. Moving to the interior, it remains in the factory configuration and presents itself well with the exception of some wear notable on the dashboard. The factory gray cloth seats sport red accents which adds to the overall athletic appearance of the model. When Ford introduced the Ford Mustang in 1964 an instant love affair with the American Pony Car was born. The Mustang was smaller, lighter, and more nimble than any American manufacturer had produced thus far. This coupled with its fresh design, the Ford Mustang became a must-have among the American public. A wide range of engines, trim options, body styles, and transmissions meant that there was a Mustang to please everyone. Ford introduced their third-generation Mustang from 1978-1993 which adjusted many components of this already popular model. With what became widely known as the Fox platform, it evolved many times throughout its long-standing popularity from trim level to drivetrain combinations.
