Notes

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to present for sale, on consignment, this low and mean 1983 GMC C-10 Restomod truck! Theres something to be said when you see an old truck laying rocker panels on the ground in a parking lot. This truck commands attention from any angle thanks to the show quality blue paint and those massive 22 inch Intro billet wheels tucked in the wheel wells and wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus tires, 265-35-ZR22 up front and 285-35-ZR22 in the rear. The paint has been ceramic coated and shines like the sun. Helping this truck get down to earth is a custom chassis with a 4 link rear suspension, tubular control arms and a much welcomed rack and pinion steering set up. The Airbag set up is controlled by Airlift with a digital display and height sensors. There are custom metal fender liners up front and the bed has been raised to accommodate the rear 4 link set up. Powering this square body is a nicely dressed late model 5.3 LS motor with some bolt on goodies like Spectre intake, shorty headers and custom valve covers, a 4 speed transmission help to keep the RPMs low at highway speeds. Stopping power comes by way of Wilwood disc brakes on all 4 corners. Inside you will find a very complimentary tan leather interior that blends well with the blue exterior including leather wrapped dash, bench seat, door panels and headliner. A custom billet and leather wrapped steering wheel with a billet column shifter, tilt and turn signal selector accents the factory voltage, oil pressure, water temp, speedometer and gas gauges. There are retro Vintage Air controls in the stock location just above the Alpine AM/FM/CD Bluetooth stereo with component speakers in custom kick panels and a single 10 sub behind the seat. The entire cab has been layered in Dynamat to reduce vibration noise. The metal bed floor has been raised and finished in a tan paint to match the interior with blue accents and custom metal rear fender liners. The factory bumpers are re-chromes and the custom smoothed grille adds a touch of simplicity to the front of this truck. This is a show ready truck just waiting to drop jaws everywhere it goes. Call us today to learn how to make this beast a part of your collection!

Bought a vehicle based on Gateways description and pictures 2 weeks ago. I live 1100 miles away, so I was trusting their word. What a big mistake!Vehicle was listed as a "fresh restoration in May 2016". The salesman(Brad at the Tampa branch)assured me this car was in great "show" condition. On arrival, the vehicle barely started, had no turn signal lights, instrument cluster lights, console lights, reverse lights,or functioning horn. Fuse box is completely rusted out. Their description said it had a Holley 850 CFM carburetor, but it a 670 CFM, and it's shot. Transmission, power steering , and radiator all leaking. They attempted to plug up the leaks with gasket sealant. Some linkage under the vehicle was held together with a wire and bent nail. Both exhaust brackets broken. AC and heat had been ripped out of the vehicle. Emergency braking system completely removed. Rear leaf spring broken. Windshield washer system also completely removed. And the engine has a knocking noise. My mechanic gave me an estimate of nearly $7000 dollares to bring this vehicle just up to specs. I forwarded the estimate to Gateway per their request. 2 days later, they called me back and said their is nothing they could do for me. That I signed a sales contract, so I'm just xxxx out of luck. They say it's not their fault the previous owner told Gateway inaccurate information regarding this car. By the way, the previous owner was the car "restorer". And i use this word extremely loosely. I purchased this vehicle for almost $30,000. I didn't purchase a project car. I'm so disgusted with this company and customer relations. And based on other complaints on this website about them, this seems to be a common practice for them. I really hope people who read this shop somewhere else, and pass the word on to friends and family. Gateway Classic Cars is a SHADY, CROOKED , company!!!
