Notes

This 1979 Porsche 911 Turbo is finished in Silver Metallic (Z2) over Black Leather. With the odometer showing only 9,199 miles, this vehicle has been maintained at a level some would describe as fanatical. The Silver Metallic paint shines luminously and the interior is in museum-quality condition, with only the smell of high-quality leather. The vehicle retains its thermal reactors and 85mph speedometer.
This 930 is offered with complete documentation from new including the original window sticker, original Porsche warranty booklet, original red vinyl sleeve for warranty booklet/owners manual, and several extras including an original tool kit, Porsche black leather front bra, vintage portable air compressor, and a Porsche indoor car cover with case.
Originally delivered to Gateway Porsche Audi of Portland, Oregon in 1979, it was sold the same year for a total price of $44,604.00 with 31 miles to a collector of 3.0 and 3.3-liter turbos. The original owner kept the vehicle for 35 years and was meticulous about service needs as evidenced by extensive documentation. The warranty book is stamped with receipts for the work.
The vehicle is all original apart from a supposed drivers door refinishing at the port of entry and the following: Bosch H4 headlights and chrome surrounds installed for improved aesthetics (originals included), replacement wastegate (original included), stainless steel muffler, and a modernized AC unit.
A total of 6 owners have cared for this example including the current owner, who purchased the vehicle in 2021 and holds the clean Nevada title. There are no records of any accidents accompanying the extensive documentation. Originally titled in Oregon, this vehicle was also titled in Louisiana, Florida, New Hampshire, and Montana.
A May 2022 invoice lists service performed for maintenance items including engine oil, oil filter, gear oil, Bosch Factory spark plugs, Porsche oil return tubes, an alternator rebuild, exhaust gaskets, and hood struts.
This 1979 Porsche 911 Turbo is an air-cooled masterpiece. One that transcends time as evident in the condition of this example (#775). Its 9,199 odometer is a passionate enthusiasts invitation to an unparalleled driving experience and for the discerning collector, an opportunity to own an automotive icon that shouldnt be missed.
Pulse Exotics proudly to offers this stunning 930 Turbo for an asking price of $280,000
Factory Details:
- Vin: 930.980.00775
- Engine: #6890565
- Gearbox: #791667
- Manufactured: 7/1979
Standard Equipment:
- Silver Metallic Paint (Z2)
- Black Leather Interior
- 3 liter Flat Six Producing 300HPat5500rpm
- 4 Speed manual transmission
- 16 Forged alloy wheels
- Pirelli Cintaurio Tires - 205/55 (F) 225/50 (R)
- Ventilated Disc Brakes
- AM/FM Stereo cassette radio
- Power Windows
- Auto AC
- Rear wiper
- Read Defroster
Optional Equipment:
- Sport Seats
- Factory Limited Slip Differential
- Heated Exterior Mirror (Right)
- Black Headliner
- Electric Sunroof
