This is a perfect example of the âBuilt Ford Toughâ campaign which originated in that era. This is a California truck. The elements have been gentle on its condition and it shows in the pristine quality of its appearance. The 74,253 miles on its odometer could possibly be actual, but itâs impossible for us to be 100% sure. The condition of the seat and wear to the vinyl flooring and pedal pads would indicate the miles to be actual. All of the parts are 100% original, inside and out, and are in perfect working order. Unlike most F-150âs of that era there is no rust or need for costly paint or fabrication. All of the gauges and components work flawlessly and the air conditioning blows ice cold. The 351 cubic inch V8 has great power and compression and the automatic transmission pulls it down the road just like it did in 1979. The entire truck has been recently repainted and the quality of the work would make anyone proud to display it at any car show. All of the panels are straight and appear to be original. The frame is in great condition with no surprises. The doors, hood, and tailgate all align well and close nicely as they were intended. The original owner's manual is still in the glove box. This truck would be suitable to drive daily or show on weekends with pride. This truck is located in Northern California and can be shipped inexpensively anywhere in the lower 48.
