1976 Triumph TR6

REV is pleased to offer this 1976 Triumph TR6 on consignment, finished in Pimento Red over Black leather. It has 98,300 original miles, and runs beautifully thanks to a recent tune-up and brake work. It has an ANSA exhaust, which offers a very tasteful and quite exotic expression of this characterful 6-cylinder engine. The engine itself is enhanced with SU carburetors, recently tuned-up and synchronized. It is also upgraded with stainless steel brake lines for the front and rear, new brake master cylinder, and an upgraded clutch hose (hard plastic). The ball joints were recently replaced. The factory radiator was updated to a more modern aluminum unit, and it has a new alternator. An aftermarket head unit was installed, with 4 2-way component speakers mounted under the dash, and behind the seats. The tires are in great shape, with good tread left and no dry-rotting. The convertible top does not have any tears, but it is older and has some blemishes. This TR6 will come with the factory tonneu covers for both the cabin, and the convertible top. Additionally, a set of factory rubber floor mats are included. The paint shows well, but has flaws in the form of some bubbling due to age, mainly on the hood and trunk. Recently the paint was wet-sanded, compounded, and polished. It has been resprayed in the past but it has been over 10 years since completed. The gauges all work, as do the lights. Mechanically the car is sound, and runs without excuses. There is minimal-to-zero rust on the undercarriage, and the rear wheels are cambered correctly. This is an example that any enthusiast would be proud to own. It may not be perfect, but it is most certainly ready to be enjoyed for years to come, and driven regularly, as one might want to do with such an engaging automobile.
