It is finished in its correct original Signal Red (code #32) paint (one repaint) over its original Black Vinyl interior the odometer shows just over 80k miles we believe the mileage to be original. The car has its original 2.5-liter inline-six, paired with its original four-speed manual gearbox. The current owner has thoroughly sorted the car EVERYTHING WORKS!! Recent work includes a tuneup, carburetor service, hose replacements, as well as flushing the brake lines and installing a new battery. This TR6 is now offered with extensive records, factory books, literature, spare parts, and a clean Connecticut transferable registration.[!@@ NL @@!][!@@ NL @@!]The SIGNAL Red (code 32) Repaint finish is excellent with only minor imperfections around the car as would be expected of a 51 year old vehicle. The soft top is newer the rear window is clear and the top mechanism works as it should.[!@@ NL @@!][!@@ NL @@!]The correct factory 15-inch steel wheels wear polished trim rings, they are in excellent condition.[!@@ NL @@!][!@@ NL @@!]The interior features its original vinyl upholstery on reclining bucket seats with a matching boot cover, door cards, and carpeting. [!@@ NL @@!][!@@ NL @@!]Original Smiths gauges and walnut dashboard fascia look good with the speedometer and a five-digit odometer that shows 80,650k miles (mileage is believed to be correct).[!@@ NL @@!][!@@ NL @@!]The original 2.5-liter inline-six is mated to its original four-speed manual transmission. The car has good power and torque and the transmission shifts well the car drives easily and handles as it should.[!@@ NL @@!][!@@ NL @@!]The quality of this car cannot be overstated, it is one of the finest TR6s we have ever seen. All systems work as designed and it is one of the best driving and handling TR6s on the market today. Buy with confidence, as the 1971 Triumph is an excellent, fully sorted example, that needs nothing but extremely original car that would make a fine addition to any collection.
