But occasionally we find a treasure like this 1971 C10 where doing less is better. This truck is a well equipped Deluxe model still wearing it's original two tone Medium Bronze and white paint. For folks who like the patina look and value originality here it is. There are many imperfections and yes there is rust. Please review the photos. Options include 350 V8 engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, A/C, chrome wheel covers, western mirrors, heavy duty springs, AM radio and more. There are two non-original items on this truck, the 8 track player which works and a set of GM rally wheels under the wheel covers. This is a running/driving vehicle. It starts right up and actually drives pretty well. The gauges all work as do the lights. The climate control does not, but will likely get addressed before the truck sells. Recent service/repairs include: new battery, oil change, new radiator & coolant, carburetor rebuilt, new fuel tank & lines, new brake master cylinder & brake fluid, brakes inspected and cleaned, new Cooper tires, new muffler and exhaust from cab back. This truck is solid enough and has enough going for it to be restoration candidate. We like that it still has the dealer logo and was sold here in NC. It's also fun just as a sweaty original, but functional example that hasn't been ruined primer and a bunch of ugly modifications. Note that the trim for the tailgate is missing in the photos, but is included. Note that due to the age, this truck is exempt from inspection and exempt from odometer reporting. There is no point in asking about the mileage. It's a 52 year old vehicle with a 5 digit odometer. We don't know what the true mileage is and it doesn't matter. Auto financing is not available.
