**WE WILL ACCEPT BITCOIN IN PART OR IN FULL TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE** 1970 BUICK GS 455 Stage 1 One of 2,465 Stage 1 hard tops produced in 1970. Underwent a meticulous body off-frame rotisserie restoration in 2019. Has a built date code 455 cu in Riviera engine. Non #s matching. Correct 3-spd auto trans. This car is in the GS Registry. It appears to still retain its original metal. Time was taken to make the body laser straight and all the body gaps fit precisely. The paint was laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished like glass. This paint is 5 years old now and it looks like it was done yesterday. We did not find any cracks, bubbles, or shrinkage. The jambs are just as slick, even up by the hinges. The white "PAINTED" top looks great against the red. All of the brightwork was restored. The chrome was replated, stainless was straightened and polished. The glass is crystal clear all around (front is new). The power windows work effortlessly and are perfectly aligned. All the weather strips and window seals were replaced. The car is equipped with, Power steering, power brakes (4 wheel disc), power windows, and working AC. It comes with a new Red Top Optima battery, stainless steel brake lines, new Engineered Cooling Products Aluminum Radiator. INTERIOR: The inside was completely gutted to a shell. It was Dynamatted under the carpet. The dash was completely disassembled and restored. The gauges were sent out and restored, chrome plastic trim was replaced. The knobs, vents, modern radio with Kicker speakers, and glovebox liner are all like new. It has factory gauges and a tachometer with auxiliary gauges under the dash (temp, voltage, oil pressure) also a 3-spoke steering wheel on a tilt column. New upholstery on the seats and door panels. Headliner and visors were replaced. Everything from the carpet to the headliner was replaced, it all fits and functions properly too. Riding on mint condition GS mags, wrapped in raised white letter Cooper Cobra radial tires, 295/50 R15 on front and 245/60 R15 on back. UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and flipped on a rotisserie. The chassis was stripped down bare, prepped, and powder coated. Every part of the suspension and steering was rebuilt. The brake system was completely restored. New lines, hoses, e-brake assembly. The fuel system was completely replaced- tank, straps, sending unit, and lines. It has a new reproduction exhaust system. Looking up at the engine it is spotless. The trans and all its related parts are spotless. The bottom of the car is restored to look factory-new. What is a Stage 1? It was Buicks top performance package and included the following over and above the GS 455: Larger valves with heavier springs, re-jetted carb, recurved distributor, high lift cam, upgraded oiling system, high volume fuel pump, HD cooling, and a posi. The a/c cars came with 3.42 gears. The odometer shows 26,279. Only 1680 miles on restoration. This Restored GS is a stunner, it will fit in any decerning collection, and if collecting isn't your bag then this is the beauty you want to impress your friends and tear up the pavement.
