Notes
1967 Ford Mustang Fastback 5.0L Coyote Resto-Mod The 1967 Ford Mustang is one of the most instantly recognizable cars anywhere. It was one of the final years that retained the original silhouette of the 1964 Mustang, but as America was deep in the muscle car age, it had received a subtle makeover, to bring it visually closer to its competition from Chevrolet and Dodge. They also make a perfect base for a resto-mod, with countless different directions you can take the build in. This 1967 Mustang Fastback is a particularly unique build that combines classic looks with modern technology, and packed with a potent powertrain. Finished in an eye catching shade of Snow White Pearl, this Mustang has received a host of body upgrades in the build. What started as a standard 1967 fastback was given the Eleanore treatment, featuring a deep front bumper, frenched in side exhausts, and large fiberglass vents behind the windows- all of which harken back to the famous star car from the Gone in 60 Seconds movie. That being said, this is not a straight tribute car and instead something that draws inspiration from that car, while doing its own thing. Up front, a set of LED lights with Shelby-style dual central fog lights, are set within a polished silver grille, and sitting above that is a fiberglass GT500 style dual inlet hood, held down by hood pins. One of the special bits of modern tech found in this car is housed within the chrome bullet side view mirrors which, although they look like a classic piece, have directional LED arrows in them, like you would find in a modern car. The Rohana RFX5 wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and sit in front of 4-wheel Baer ventilated disc brakes with 6-piston calipers finished in Canary Yellow. The interior is just as eye-catching, finished in a beautiful beige leather that covers the seats, doors, center console and dashboard. Although the dashboard retains its original look, every single aspect has been touched and upgraded to make it more high quality, and technology focused. Modern digital gauges sit where the original gauges would have, while supplementary gauges flank them right in front of the driver. Sitting in the center console is an iPad which controls the upgraded stereo system with JL Audio speakers and custom subwoofer. The combination billet and leather steering wheel is on a tilt column and behind it sits a pair of paddle shifters which can be used to control the 4R70W automatic transmission. As you would expect for a car with this much integrated technology, an Old Air Products Hurricane air conditioning system has been installed as well as power windows.
