Notes

Very fresh rotisserie restoration. Detailed everywhere you look in and out, top to bottom. The colors are what really drew me to the car, the condition is what sold me on it! EXTERIOR: The body is in outstanding condition, every panel is clean and straight. No rust, doors shut like new. Repainted a smooth, high gloss Wimbledon white. The red GT stripe really gives it some pop. It appears they've replaced just about every single piece of exterior trim including bumpers, emblems, window moldings, mirror, door handles, taillights, gas cap etc. New black vinyl top. New windshield and weatherstrips. It's sitting pretty on a set of chrome 15 inch American Racing wheels. Tires and wheels look new. INTERIOR: The red and white interior is a very lively contribution to this car. The deluxe pony seats are not only reupholstered but also recushioned. New red carpet on the floor along with matching embroidered mats. It also has new red seat belts with chrome Mustang buckles. The door panels, armrests and handles were replaced. The metal trim is all repainted. The dash pad, glovebox door, instrument bezel, knobs are new. Upgraded with a retro stereo and a walnut steering wheel. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is a detailed motor ready to go to the car show with the hood popped. It has a smooth running 289 V8 with stock manifolds dressed up with chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Every component looks new: Holley carb, distributor, fuel pump, oil sending unit, alternator etc. It has power brakes upgraded with a dual reservoir master cylinder. All the metal surfaces are painted smooth. Complete with horns, fan shroud and even the Ford washer fluid bag. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid, the jamb and inside are painted a smooth gloss white. It is complete with a jack and spare. Reproduction mat, tire cover and weatherstrip. UNDERSIDE: We were told this car was restored on a rotisserie. It's pretty obvious all the front-end steering and suspension was replaced, it all looks new. In back it has new bushings and shocks. The brake system's been completely replaced and upgraded with drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels, it has a custom e-brake assembly. New factory style dual exhaust with the crossover pipe, Dynomax mufflers and turn down tips. All new fuel system including the tank, sending unit and lines. Looking up at the motor it is very fresh, new starter and fuel pump. The transmission is a C-4, looks completely fresh. A rebuilt driveshaft goes back to a rebuilt rear end. All the floors and frame rails are literally spotless painted with a smooth satin black finish. SERVICE: We serviced the car and repaired the reverse lights and interior lights. We replaced the turn signal switch, an idler arm and window channels. We eliminated some rattles from underneath. Very fresh! Anywhere you look it is new. This is an American classic with tons of nostalgia. A very easy collector car to own, simple to maintain and operate, parts are readily available including upgrades. There are many Mustang clubs and events to participate in too. I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central [email protected] Answered ASAP Power brakes 4 wheel disc Dual exhaust Chrome wheels GT stripe Vinyl top Pony seats Embroidered mats Retro stereo Seatbelts
