REV is thrilled to offer this 1960 Chevrolet Impala convertible, finished in it's original Fawn Beige paint over Copper leather/vinyl hounds-tooth interior. This Impala still retains it's original 348 V8 "W" engine in 250hp configuration, mated to a Turboglide automatic transmission. It is also equipped with a Continental Kit rear bumper, dual radio antennas, and fender skirts, to really set off the look. The partial restoration took place in the 90's and this Impala has been stored in a climate controlled garage ever since, and rarely driven in the last 10 years. The trim, chrome, and paint along the exterior of the vehicle is mostly in excellent condition. There are some minor indications that this is an older restoration, but you have to look extremely close to find them. This Impala runs and drives without any excuses, and never hesitates to fire up at the first crank, hot or cold. It never smokes, and does not burn any oil, the engine is quiet and smooth and the transmission shifts are barely perceptible. The convertible top is in like-new condition, and goes up and down with ease at the push of a button. The factory AM radio is working, as are all gauges. It has a brand new brake master cylinder, all four wheel cylinders, and a new power steering control valve. There are several spare parts that will come with the purchase of this Impala, including two Tri-Power intake/carburetor setups, a Tri-Power air cleaner, Iskanderian (ISKY) camshaft, and 90% of the parts needed to do the conversion to give this car a little more pep and make it run like a factory Tri-Power car.
