i called ahead to john re: a mercedes and since i live outside NY, i wanted to have a benz dealer check it out for me. Without hesitation, John arranged to have the car brought to the dealer of my choice and patiently had his guy wait 2hrs for the completed inspection. the vehicle passed with ONLY minor issues. i made an appt, to see the car with John. upon arrival it was clean, ready to be test driven and my trade in was apparaised. To my surprise a few of the minor issues the dealer had found had since been corrected. AWESOME! I purchased it on the spot with little haggling because the price was already fair and John came up enough on my trade to get the deal done. In addition was was concerned about recieving the title via mail and kept bothering John about updates. He and a co worker Isaac keep me informed daily and the title arrived overnight exactly when they said it would. this was my first purchase at a private dealer and Great Neck came through! Give them a try-you might be pleasantly surprised like me.
