1950 OLDSMOBILE 88 HOLIDAY HARDTOP COUPE--- STICK SHIFT !!! This Olds is about as rare as they come. Only 1366 Holiday Hardtop Coupes were made in 1950 and out of those probably only a handful had manual transmissions. This car was \"modestly restored\" from original years ago and has been kept in good running condition. Never off the frame, the body is straight and there is no rust. The paint is beautiful deep black that is perfect except for a tiny chip on top of the right rear fender, there is a photo of this. The Rocket 88 engine is quiet, starts easy and runs strong. The transmission shifts nicely and the clutch and rear end are smooth and quiet. No drips! Brakes work well. Tires look new. Seats have clear vinyl covering like when we were kids. The seat covers have probably never been sat on. The headliner is perfect except for a small tear in the left rear corner over the back seat. There is a photo of this. I have not done an extensive detailed clean up of the car especially the interior. Some folks want things as they are and have their own ideas as to detail work. Gauges are faded and work O.K. but are probably not calibrated. Glass is all good. Dual exhaust with \"glass packs\" that have a beautiful mellow tone. Odometer shows 65157 miles which is probably correct. This car came out of the famous Hammack Collection and was consigned in a Mecam Auction. I have posted a good number of photos and a little video is available through You tube. Happy to answer questions and send photos. Payment can be by bank wire, cash, paypal.
